The design required a lot of animation and custom unique effects. Being the sole developer, I was able to work closely with the designer from the studio, and together we came up with a great result for the client.
On this project I was to supply the website for the client, but unbeknownst to me the client had other ideas and had someone else working on a website at the same time. I doubt this was an innocent breakdown of communication, but in the end the new web designers used my logo and other graphics so my designs weren’t disregarded completely.
I helped Bryan Wain from Wain Digital re-work this website to suit the clients design specifications provided in PSD format.
The client wanted a custom fancy navigation menu with thumbnails. To save on page-load expense I decided to load the thumbnails of the relevant posts with a custom query triggered via ajax. This can be found on this page by hovering over the blue navigation bar.
I custom built all the content sliders on the front page and they were integrated into the existing theme framework so the client is able to customise as much as possible.
It was a fun project to work on and Bryan is a great guy to work with.
The Naked Byron Dips website was designed by myself and then converted to a responsive WordPress theme after the client had signed off on the design. The client enjoyed some of the hand drawn elements I left in the working files I sent him and requested they be part of the final website. The photography was organised by myself as I had full creative control of this project. Please click on the image or the link to view the entire site.
